Meeting with the Mayor of Vladivostok
In order to obtain support and establish partnerships with the municipal authorities of Primorsky Territory for the development of new wind power complexes, on July 20, 2022, the author of the Wind Power Plant invention, Denis Tiaglin, met with the Mayor of Vladivostok, Konstantin Shestakov.
The W.E.T.E.R. project and the new wind power complex being developed under the project, which combines a building with a wind power plant, were presented to the Mayor of Vladivostok at the meeting. The author of the project and the invention explained the proposed new technical solution, consisting of a power generating unit with a vertical-axis blade system construction in the complex with the building. The sketches and graphic representations of the complex, preliminary design indicators of the wind power plant, and the design of the new wind power complex were of interest to the administration of the Mayor's Office.
The parties of the meeting pointed out the necessity of development and use of such complexes for overcoming the power shortage in megacities and isolated territories, creation of energy efficient buildings and optimization of urban infrastructure. During the meeting the perspectives of the realization of the mentioned project, its resource provision and the use of innovative developments in the structure of modern cities were discussed.
At this stage, the Mayor of Vladivostok K. Shestakov proposed to bring the project to the Urban Council of the Mayor's Office to consider the possibility of implementing the project in the city of Vladivostok. The meeting was held in a warm and homely atmosphere.
We hope that the support of the W.E.T.E.R. project, the participation of the municipal authorities will accelerate its implementation, identify new trends in the development of urban areas, to create the preconditions for the construction of attractive, compact and technological cities of the future.
