Embarking on a Teletype Odyssey: Why not to start now!

Assalamu’alaikum,

Yes, I am in!

In the ever-expanding realm of digital expression, I am currently trying to inhibit myself from the stream of flooded trash content on social media.

Life is too short to waste it on Social Media!

I was wondering how to get the most out of my time spent on Social Media and I recently found one. The only way, for me, is to write a lot!

You may wonder why.

Take a look at this post and get through it -> READ ME!

From a digital parasite to a digital gardener!

Most of us have become digital parasites - sorry, I know I'm being harsh, but think about it - we rely on and consume digital content without adding value to the world around us.

I know I also had a dream to turn the world upside down, serving the Ummah, but I came to a conclusion after long hours of conversations with my lifelong teacher - "Start local". Start changes from yourself and your soul.

What if I shifted my mindset and became a digital gardener instead - the one who plants, nurtures, and grows meaningful content, ideas, and projects that significantly impact our dunya and akhirah?

What if I shifted my behavior:

— Blindly liking and forwarding → verifying and adding critical thought to the content;
— Mindlessly swiping through videos → pursuing specific knowledge that would benefit me in my personal and professional life;
— Reading tons of articles without any aim Carefully selecting what I read, taking notes;
— Listening to hundreds of podcasts → Listening to my soul, challenging my assumptions about where I’m actually going.

Becoming a digital gardener is my utmost important goal for 2024.

In Sha Allah, I am eager to share my experience of becoming a digital gardener and the practical tips I use, but first, without sharing them, I have to stick to pursuing the practices for 40 days.

For now, I intend to share my articles daily here in Teletype.

Thank you all for reading through this article!
I am sincerely dedicated to helping others by helping myself first.

Sincerely,
Toxirjon Mirzaqulov.
