How does the inter-exchange method work?
⌛️How does the inter-exchange method work?
Let's look at an example using the USDT>XRP pair between Bybit and Binance, the spread is 2.3% per round.
❗️THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW ARE AN EXAMPLE, NOT A REAL METHOD!
Inter-exchange methods exist due to the difference in asset prices between exchanges, the difference in rate is our income (spread).
- Top up your Bybit balance with Tether USDT in the amount of $200 or more.
- Transfer USDT from Bybit to your Binance account.
- Go to the "Conversions" section on Binance and exchange your USDT for XRP coin.
- Transfer the received XRP from Binance to your Bybit account.
— Go to the Spot Trading section on the Bybit exchange and sell XRP coins back to USDT using a market or limit order.
The circle is closed after selling coins on the spot. The difference in USDT received on the Bybit exchange between the beginning and the end of the bundle is the profit.
In this example, the price of XRP on Bybit is $0.77, and on Binance it is $0.75.
🛍 Total: $200 your bank - $2 (USDT transfer fee), convert USDT to XRP at the Binance rate and get - 262.83 XRP, transfer coins back to Bybit - $0.15 (XRP transfer fee) and sell on spot at the Bybit rate and get $202.20 in USDT, net - $2.20 (minus all fees).
