Evening walk in Riga
If you are looking for an inexpensive weekend break that would also give you the time of your life, then consider taking an evening walk in Riga. A drive through the Latvian countryside is always fun, no matter if it is in the daylight or nighttime. And while there is plenty to do in Riga, perhaps the best thing you can do is take part in an evening walk with fellow tourists and locals. It is truly a unique experience and you will never forget it for the rest of your life! When going on a city tour, I choose what to see at Foxiepass.
When it comes to cultural events in Riga there is plenty to choose from. Some interesting activities include a visit to the Museum of Latvian Art, where you can see artwork from centuries past to present day. If you like, you could even participate in a Latvian folk dance or play a round of golf on the beach. Other activities include a visit to the National Gallery, the National Museum, and the Central Market square, where you can get some souvenirs for souvenir hunters on your trip to Riga. You will also want to make it a point to visit the many clubs and pubs around town for a drink or two. The majority of these clubs offer entertainment such as music, dancing, magic shows, and comedy acts.
Riga is also a very interesting place to go for sightseeing. Check out what Riga has to offer by taking a drive through the historic streets of Riga and stopping in at some of the interesting museums as well. This is a wonderful way to spend the day and it is an excellent idea to have your camera ready for the night life in Latvian villages that may be a bit more risque than you are expecting. In fact, while you are there, you might even want to try some of the local food and drinks. No matter what you are looking for in a city you should be able to find it in Riga, as long as you drive out of your way and explore it in person.
Renting a car allows me not to discover the sights of Riga.
