Narayan Nagbali Pooja At Trimbakeshwar

Narayan Nagbali Pooja Vidhi

Narayan Nagbali is a 3-day puja ritual performed at Ahilya Godavari Sangam and Satimahasmashan located near Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. Narayan Nagbali Puja is performed by the authentic Tamrapatradhari pandit of Trimbakeshwar. Devotees are asked to come to Trimbakeshwar 1 day in advance before this ritual. And once this ritual begins, the devotees cannot leave the Trimbakeshwar tirth kshetra.

During the ritual, it is asked to avoid alcohol, cigarettes, and nonveg food and is advised to eat only sattvic food. Tambarathari Pandit of Trimbakeshwar provides help to the devotees in all things like Pooja material, accommodation, and food. The date of the Narayana Nagbali Puja ritual is given by Tamrapatradhari Pandit by looking at the birth chart of the person who wants to perform this Pooja, they predict the Nakshatras and tell the time of the ritual.

Narayana Nagbali Puja involves pinda daan, and pitru dosh nivarna rituals, so only men can perform this ritual. And women cannot sit alone in this ritual. Men wear a new white dhoti and gumcha and women wear a saree of any color except black and green.

Before starting the ritual, devotees bathe in the holy water of the Kushavarat Kund near Trimbakeshwar. It is said that bathing in the water of Kushavarta Kunda washes away all sins.
