Stage play Anna Karenina (dir. Nikolay Kolyada)

Anna is 26 and Vronsky is 21. This is a love story of very young people who, as they thought, found their half in the world, but it turned out - there are no such halves in the world, no matter what smart people say.Every viewer will probably have a question: will he see a traditional performance or a modern, avant-garde?

Nikolai Kolyada invents the artistic world, draws with actors scenes of Russian life, which, it would seem, are long in the past, but take a closer look: everything is today.

A century and a half ago this great novel was written. Tolstoy has everything alive, everything as if from the street: passions, jealousy, death, love. And the feelings of the current person are no different from what worried Tolstoy’s heroes. Except that the costumes changed, and the man - he remained the same.

Everything is like in the novel: the passionate love of Anna and Vronsky, the contempt of society and the terrible death of the heroine. Yet, despite the tragedy, there is light in the finale of the play. And this light carries Levin. He had a child, he and Kitty are happy in the family idyll, which means that life continues, it is invincible by death.

The Telepathic School: Transmission of thoughts by Daniel Blanga Gubbay

Describing a form of contact without physical contact – or as a form of connection between two points that are not subjected to coded language– the term telepathy was coined in 1882 by psychologist Frederic Myers at the intersection of telecommunication and psychology.

The Telepathic School merges theoretical contributions, poetry, sonic performances and exercises of telepathy: three hours, organised in 10 transmissions of thoughts, and 3 interfering channels –How to Communicate when Language is Poisoned; Interspecies Telepathy; The Capitalisation of Telepathy. Their voices and sounds gather on line in the space of the Biennale, joining from a distance–Bogota, Beirut, Berlin, or Barcelona–, and creating a remote experience of shared thoughts.

It invites the listeners to reflect together from a distance, by travelling in the history of telepathy and its relevance today: from para-magic to feminist perspectives on language, from interspecies communication, to the ongoing re-appropriation of telepathic experiments by surveillance capitalism.
