Memorandum on Udyog Aadhaar

In response to the Kamath Committee's recommendations, the Ministry of MSME, in cooperation with the National Board of MSMEs and the Advisory Committee, has developed a one-page registration form that serves as a self-declaration format for businesses to register with the Ministry of MSME. The business is given a Udyog Aadhaar Acknowledgement with a unique identifier, the Udyog Aadhaar Number, after completing the registration.

The Ministry of MSME has set up the infrastructure, namely the Udyog Aadhaar (UA) Portal, for firms situated anywhere in the country to file Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) online. Mobile devices can also access the UAM portal. The filing of the Entrepreneurs Memorandum has been superseded by UAM (EM part -I & II). On the website https://msme.e-registration.co.in/, you may learn more about the Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum.

According to the Kamath Committee's recommendation, the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) created the Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum, which is a registration form. This one-page registration form would allow a small business to self-certify its existence. It's a self-declaration form that includes information about the MSME's bank account, the owner's Aadhaar number, and other pertinent details.

A unique identifier for the MSME will be issued based on this form. The Udyog Aadhaar Number is the name given to this unique identification.
