Urban Clothing For Men

Most adults these days , when they think of urban street wear sometimes make the mistake of confusing it with hip-hop wear, but they are really two different kinds of clothing brands representing two different worlds. Hip-hop fashion represents more of the rapper and gangster type of clothing, but urban street wear as a way different history and origin in which its roots urban clothing for men in Southern California surfers and skaters started to develop a very distinct fashion style that started to become known as skatewear and surfwear and there was one person who became recognized in this industry and his name was Shawn Stussy. Stussy was a famous surfer who came up with the idea of coming up with his own line of surf boards and T-shirts in which he started to place his own distinct tag on them. As its popularity started to rise as a surfer so that the popularity of his signature surfboards and T-shirts and they were so popular that they started to sell well not only in California but over the United States.

The popularity of Streetwear not only caught on in the United States but eventually went on to become a big hit in Japan. The Japanese style of streetwear was a bit different because in Japan their focus was more on the popular anime cartoons that almost everyone in Japan was watching during those times. So by the early 1990s this style of anime streetwear eventually spilled back over into the United States and they also started to adopt it as a very popular fashion among young urban teenagers.
