Or Halloween, which is upcoming as well. And I know there's some other builders out there going as well. So I'd love to see all the creators adding the top of Sunflowerland. All right, the other big one update which we just announced today was the faction rank updates. So for the past couple of weeks, we've had the open discussion and proposal that is updating the ranks of the factions. So when we first released that feature, We hard coded the amount of emblems you would need to be a certain rank. And at the time that was based on the different percentiles. So if you're in the top 10% owners, top 20% owners and so on, you would be given a certain rank. Since the launch, of course, the amount of emblems that people have, the ownership percentages, they have all changed. So we just needed to recalibrate that. So if you do go into the game now, you will now see the updated ranks. This may mean that you have dropped or increased a rank. So please go in and check out those emblems and the ranks just to make sure you don't miss out on any of the mark boosts. A nice little addition that went live today as well was a small little update to the faction prizes as well. We had a lot of feedback from people who were a lot of new players, but they're trying very hard, they're grinding very hard, and they're often getting 50th, 60th place. And we've now added this new reward, which is if you come 50th to 100th place, you will now get 5,000 coins and 500 marks. So all your efforts won't be for nothing. If you are the top 100 for a faction, it is quite tough to do. You are competing with a lot of players, but you will be rewarded for that now. Lacey Mouse, that's a good question. How often will the ranks be calibrated? Is it an automatic or manual process? So right now it is a manual process. We're roughly doing it every couple of months, but we do want to turn it into an automated process. The reason that we do a lot of these things manual at first is to avoid wasted dev effort in the future. So we like to make sure that the process that we're using, the ranking system, how we calculate it, that's all correct before we go out and actually build it into our game. We do this with quite a lot of other things. Back in the days, anyone that remembers, all of the rewards used to be manually sent out, then we built the in-game airdropping system. I always like it. In terms of a development philosophy, is doing things manually the first few times. Gives you a really good sense of what the actual product, the software is going to need, and then building it out into the code base. Big old Goblin War rewards. Yeah, those were a big manual task. Yeah, don't take me back to those. That would take like half of my day to send out those rewards. Alright, some of the other nice things you would have seen going live in the game as well is the new NPC backgrounds. So if you go into the deliveries board, when you click on Victoria, you'll see the castle background. When you click on Old Salty, you'll see the desert background and so on. I think it's just such a nice little touch that we've got in there as well. And as I walk around the plaza as well, who could forget that the September VIP gift is now live as well. So anyone that has been in the plaza today, you've probably noticed that there are a lot of camels that I've been walking around. And the reason being is that if you have got VIP access, this month's prize was a camel onesie. And decol, someone might need to correct me, it's quite a good boost. It boosts all of your fruit by a small amount. So... Always a nice little addition. It's kind of the pattern we've been following for the past few seasons, where month one is a cosmetic wearable. Month two is a wearable with a buff. And then month three is like a seed pack, tool pack, a bunch of things you can use to play the game. D. Coles just shared a nice picture of Tywin. Blue Sky said, bankrupt doing business with Tywin. Yeah, I can't deal with Tywin anymore. I just run out of resources too quickly. I think the great thing lately at Sunfile End is even when we're working on these big features and branching out and doing other things, we've got so many open source and community developers and we've also got Elias and Irons who have been pushing out so much code lately. I'm going to go through some of these nice updates if you haven't seen them already. First one, which was super nice this week, is a lot has worked on automatic translations. So if you are not playing the English version of the game, you would have noticed that there were still English words here and there in the game. And the reason was because we had to get people in the community to manually translate all of these. And sometimes we would build a feature, but it would take a week or two before we actually got the translations live. We're still giving it to the community. We still need their help to translate it and make it sound very authentic. But Elisa's added this nice bit of automation that if we push out an update and it is missing a translation for Portuguese or Mandarin, that will automatically translate it and save it and push it out. So those players... who are playing Chiquis version, French version, you're no longer going to see those English terms. You're going to see an auto-translated term pop up in there. It might not be the best fit, but then you'll probably notice in a week or two that may get updated with the more localised term as well. So huge shout out to Elias. I love all those, the sort of non-feature facing, but they do make the code base a lot easier to manage, removes a lot of the manual process for us as well. Our main man Craig, he has been in the trenches for the last 10 days or so doing an application-wide wallet upgrade. So we are a Web3 game, which means we have a lot of integrations with wallets. Kx, metamask, phantom wallet, wallet connect, sequences, hundreds of wallets we need to support. Our core architecture, we hadn't done a big upgrade for a couple of years, and the technology we were using was getting a little outdated. And as a player, you probably noticed this, if you go to claim a daily reward or do a transaction, sometimes it would just fail and the error wasn't very useful. And so what he's been doing lately is... Updating our technology to use all the latest packages and libraries in the Web3 space. All these things like auto detect. So if you are using some other wallet, it's just going to pop up instantly for you to click. Hopefully a lot less transaction errors will be popping up with this change as well. This has just gone live last week and there's still a few little small bugs and hiccups here and there. So if you do see anything that does look a bit off or didn't work as expected, please put that into our help channel because we're trying to squash all of those issues as soon as possible. Police emails, will the PWA be able to detect what wallets I installed on my phone? That's a good question. I don't think it will. Yeah, we might. It's a bit of a technical one. The Ethereum object gets put on the window. I'll have to check back with... I need Craig for this question right now. He's been diving deep into that. I'll get back to you on that, please, you know. Welcome, welcome, Red Casper. And so Andrea's just done a perfect example. They've shared a screenshot where their Rabi, I don't know if it's Rabbi, Rabi wallet has popped up the top. Before that wallet never just automatically popped up there. You'd have to go other wallets, wallet connect, if you wanted to see that pop up. Now it actually pops up as the default one. which is very useful as a new user if you are seeing your wallet that you're using pop up there, builds a lot of initial trust in the game. Going through the releases, I can actually see 40 changes in front of me, so I'm not going to go through these. Needless to say, there's been nice patches, smaller improvements, UI fixes that have been going out as well. So what are the team working on right now? So the engineers are currently working on the skills revamp, which is live in testing at the moment. We're still going to have our session with Sakul where he can come on and talk through the feature. Craig and myself and recently Elias have been building out the marketplace. And... It's been fun, but it's been very tedious as well. There's so many different security aspects when you're building a marketplace. Lots of different player signatures that we need to sort of build out. It is one of those tasks that I think everyone always underestimates building their own marketplace. The functionality seems easy enough, but when you're building it out on Web3, there's so many different layers. of security. So this week we've sort of been designing smart contracts and figuring out the best practices for those. The artists behind the scenes, you might have seen some leaked content, but they are forging forward with the animal concept in Sunflowerland. And I do have a little bit of a sneak peek that Irons has shared today. And Irons, feel free to drop some of these teasers as well in the chat. But I want to share this one because I loved it so much. which is the Goblin Cowboy. So we mentioned before that a lot of the theme is going to be around animals with this upcoming season. It's the big feature, which is going live. And a lot of the ideas that I've seen the artist playing with is the cowboy slash rancher aspect of animals. And it is looking incredible. I can already imagine having to get enough cow leather to be able to craft that onesie. And these scarves are a very nice addition as well. So I won't spoil too much, but I did see some updates for the cows, the pigs and the sheep, and they are looking incredible as well. There you go. A question from the community. Is the plan for animals to launch at the start of the season or later? That will launch on season start. So that season is lined up for November. And I'll double check that date for you, Tiris. It will be the 4th of November. And the reason that we will do the 4th of November instead of the 1st of November is that the 1st is a Friday. And we try not to do any big releases on the last day of the week or on weekends. But actually, with our new mechanic where we have a seven-day cooldown, it doesn't really matter when that does start. But yeah, likely we don't want everything kicking off on Fridays, so we will offset it by a day or two. Listen, I'll never deploy on fraud on Fridays. It is the classic. the blue screen the Windows blue screen that got everyone up for someone deploying on a Friday afternoon we don't want to replicate that Some of the other proposals which have been live, if you haven't checked them out already, the free-to-play experiment, there's been a lot of great comments from the community on that that are helping us shape that, make sure it's sustainable as well. The animals proposal is also live as well. So if you do want to give your two cents or help shape that feature, please jump in there and give us your feedback. The great man's popping up in the channel there. Alrighty. And I did say it will be Any ETA for the skills revamp? I cannot give you the ETA on that right now. I can say it is in testing at the moment and just some extra functionality and polish is being added.
