THE LEVEL OF LOCALIZATION OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING ENTERPRISES ARE INCREASING IN NUKUS

Members of the working group headed by the chairman of the “Uzeltehsanoat” Association M. Yunusov, together with officials of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, are studying the activities of a number of industrial enterprises in Nukus.

The next destination was Uzbek-Korean joint venture Samsung Nukus in the city of Nukus.

Today, the company produces new types of TVs, vacuum cleaners and microwave ovens. The company currently employs more than 60 people.

As of 2019, the localization rate of the enterprise has reached 40 percent. Here, mainly the production of the components were fully mastered and localized.

In particular, plastic parts, rubber parts, corrugated hose for the vacuum cleaner, turbo brush, dust-bag (textile fabric and paper) are made through cooperation.

The annual production capacity of corrugated hoses and cleaning brushes for vacuum cleaners is 200,000 units.

Companies products are exported to 15 countries.
