We seek a visionary Group CTO to lead the technology strategy, architecture, and innovation for a global fintech platform processing. This role offers direct influence at the Board level, the freedom to shape a full-scale fintech infrastructure, and the opportunity to launch new products and enter new markets.
- Build from the Ground Up: Develop a unified fintech platform with in-house infrastructure (core banking, payment gateway, card systems, DWH);
- Board-Level Impact: Shape long-term strategy and technology investments alongside shareholders.
- Freedom to Innovate: Define architecture, engineering practices, and tech culture in a fast-growing organization.
- Leadership: Hire, mentor, and lead engineering leaders (50+ team);
- Strategy: Define and execute long-term tech/platform vision;
- Architecture: Own platform design, scalability, and resilience (core banking, payments, cards);
- Compliance: Ensure high availability, security, and regulatory adherence (PCI DSS, EMI, crypto licenses);
- Collaboration: Work with Board/shareholders on tech investments and resource allocation;
- Innovation: Drive automation, API-first development, and cloud-native solutions.
- CTO/VP Engineering in fintech, payments, crypto, or high-growth tech;
- Scalable platforms: Built/managed distributed systems (50+ engineers);
- Payments Infrastructure Expertise: Deep knowledge of card issuing/acquiring, banking, or EMI/crypto regulation;
- Regulated Environments: Worked in compliance-heavy industries (PCI DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR);
- Languages: Russian and English fluently in both
