Does our knowledge depend on interactions with other knowers?
It is believed that nowadays people have access to a lot of different digital and paper resources, then they can form and acquire knowledge by themselves. However, if people want to gain deeper knowledge or just more absorbing knowledge they need to interact with other knowers to gain knowledge from different perspectives.
I associate this table in the library with interactions and communication with other knowers as I often hang out with my friends and I have some lessons there. We can discuss news, interesting facts and share our thoughts with each other about new information which we have gained during the lessons.
At this table people can share their opinions and gain new information about the knowledge that people have already known. In other words, this table illustrates whether you communicate or do not join companies at this table. During communication you may acquire new knowledge through perspectives of different knowers on the same situations, then you gain.
Another point that this table illustrates is the fact that it round and associated with collaborating, it means that it provides opportunities for cooperating and discussing. To put it differently, through cooperating and collaborating people can easily understand some sophisticated concepts as a result they acquire new knowledge during the interactions.
To conclude, people can gain knowledge through own experience or self-study, but interactions with other knowers can increase the depth and difficulty of gained knowledge, acquire new information from different perspectives.
