«Shree Lalita-Trishati», Mantra 199 — ॐ लब्धरसायै नमः
Mantra 199. ॐ लब्धरसायै नमः — oṃ labdharasāyai namaḥ
Shree Lalita TripuraSundari-Devi possesses रस [rasa].
रसो वै सः। रस्ँह्येवायं लब्ध्वानन्दी भवती ॥२.७.१॥ raso vai saH ras.NhyevAyaM labdhvAnandI bhavatI ||Taittiriya Upanishad 2.7.1||
«Since She is the Source of the Greatest Bliss, She has Bliss as Her Form».
Or रस [rasa] also means the emotion of love. Shree Lalita-Devi signifies that emotion, since, She is bedecked with auspicious ornaments and flowers, which are indications of love; or rasa means «the taste of sweetness».
According to the saying of Gita, 17.8:
रस्याः स्निग्धाः स्थिरा हृद्या आहाराः सात्त्विकप्रियाः rasyAH snigdhAH sthirA hRRidyA AhArAH sAttvikapriyAH
«In devotional offering, bitter, acid, and saltish foods are prohibited, but sweet things, dear to Her are offered. This is so because sweetness is sattvic».
