Senior DevOps Engineer
Infront X is looking for DevOps Engineer to join our team in creating innovative solutions for the world’s leading sports, media, and entertainment companies. The ideal candidate for this role will be experienced in creating custom solutions that aren’t based on existing templates and passionate about researching them. Our DevOps engineers work on high load projects with teams all over the world with many opportunities to continuously learn, improve, and share knowledge.
- Plan cloud infrastructure together with Solution Architect and Development teams
- Implement and document cloud infrastructure: computing, routing, storage, data feeds and API integrations
- Maintain cloud infrastructure
- resolve production incidents, assess and implement change requests
- Set up CI/CDI tools and processes for your projects in close collaboration with Dev teams
- Actively participate in the knowledge sharing process — learn details of the projects that your teammates are working on, share knowledge on the projects you’re leading
- Be a DevOps practices evangelist and work together with your teammates on building support and adoption of such practices throughout the organization
- Continuously learn and grow your technical skills and promote the best industry practices in the organization
- Infrastructure assessment
- Setup cloud infra and app monitoring and proactively participate in monitoring/educate L2 support team
- Act as L3 support engineer and be ready for on-call support
— 3+ years of working experience in Linux/Unix administration (CentOS / Redhat / Ubuntu)
— Amazon AWS: Elastic Load Balancer, Lambda, CloudFormation, EC2, RDS, ECS
— Atlassian stack: Bamboo, Jira, BitBucket, Confluence
— Kubernetes, Helm, kubectl
— Good knowledge of Bourne shell scripting
— Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, netstat, tcpdump, grep, sed, etc.
— Apache, Nginx configuration (SSL, redirects, auth, etc)
— Cloud automation and configuration management: Chef, Terraform
— CDN knowledge (Fastly, CloudFront)
— Upper-intermediate or higher level of written and spoken English
