Case Study: Leads for Boat Sales Across Europe

Alena, the head of a boat manufacturing company from Estonia, contacted us. Their boats are made from exceptionally durable material.

We had a call, filled out a brief, understood the goals, and started working.

The request was to generate leads in three countries: Norway, Finland, and Germany.

After the brief, we analyzed all the information provided by the client and created creatives in three languages. It’s worth highlighting that these boats have several advantages over competitors in this segment. The discount price we promoted on Facebook was 20% off, making them the most affordable on the market. Additionally, the design was crafted by a leading designer in this field. And of course, the strongest advantage, in our view, is the impact-resistant hull, which is unmatched by competitors—a significant selling point.

The price of the boat without motor and accessories is $5,500.

The main goal in the creatives was to visually showcase the boats, present a strong offer for potential leads, highlight the most important advantages, and provide a clear and simple call-to-action that strengthens purchase intent.

We used a slightly non-standard Facebook lead form. In addition to collecting phone numbers, it was important for us to collect emails as well. Also, before filling in the details, we added an extra question to improve lead quality.

According to the statistics from the first month of work, the results were as follows:

  • Spent: $217
  • Leads: 137
  • Cost per lead: $1.50

Given such a small budget, we consider the results to be excellent! At the same time, the traffic was fairly manageable, and there is significant demand for boats in these countries. Of course, we could have generated many more leads, but the volume was more than satisfactory for the client.
