Client Program for Windows
As you already know, we will install the nodes on a VPS server, and not on our own computer. To do this, we need a program with which one we going to install our nodes.
Download and install the Termius client software.
Click on the Download.exe button and choose where you want to save it (you can download to your desktop).
Run the downloaded program (installation is fast enough) and click on Continue without account.
Please sign up If required.
Go to your email or personal backoffice of the company where you rented the server. Take the ip address from there and enter it, and then click Create host
Next, fill in all the required fields:
- Ip adress — Will already be filled in, this is your ip from the server
- Add a tag — Come up with any name, it can be the date of purchase of your
server. For example, Server 12.12.22. So, you will not forget to renew it and you
will always see from what date it was bought from you.
- Port -22
- username - root
- Password — your server password. Do not confuse with another password.
Click on the login icon to save your changes.
Now, double click on the button on your server to open it.
When connecting for the first time, you need to click on Add and continue
If you did everything right, then a client program is going to open for you, where you will enter various commands in the future.
We also recommend that you change the theme to make it more convenient to work. Go to settings by clicking on the gear, go to Terminal and select the Dracula theme and just close the settings. The theme will change after restarting the Client.
In the same Terminal settings, check the box:

P.S. To re-login Termius, use the shortcut on your desktop, not the installer. The label looks like this:
Question: After I have executed the commands, can I close the window? And in general, now always keep the computer on?
Answer: You can close the Client program (only not during the installation of programs), but when you finish working with it. At the same time, everything will work on the server 24/7 and your computer can also be turned off.
Question: Can I install multiple nodes on the same server?
Answer: In general, sometimes nodes can conflict with each other. But, if this is not mentioned in the instructions and the power of your server allows, then you can.
Question: I did everything as it is written in the instructions, and I am not allowed to enter the server, it gives an error.
Answer: Please make sure you entered the correct ip address and password. Sometimes, you can get confused in passwords and enter not from ip, but from the personal backoffice of the server, therefore, enter the correct data and everything should work out.
Question: I accidentally closed the program, how can I install other nodes now?
Answer: Reopen the Termius program (find it in your programs or move the icon to the desktop) and connect to the server again.
