How not to miss new gifts in Telegram?

DISCLAIMER: this method only works on Android phones!

How does it work?

We will install an application that can be used to automate the alarm clock when you receive a notification with certain content.

Example of a macro

Step by step instructions

1. Go to the channel with notifications about new gifts and turn on notifications in it.

2. Download the MacroDroid application from Google Play or 4pda.

3. Go to the Macros tab and click on the plus sign.

4. Add the Notification trigger from the Device Events tab, then select Notification Received, Select Application(s), search for Telegram, leave Include at the bottom, then change Text Content to Contains, enter 🔥 A new limited gift has appeared in the text field, leave everything else unchanged and click OK.

5. Add the Alarm Clock action from the Date/Time category, leave Set Alarm, add one minute and click OK.

6. Optionally, you can add conditions to Constraints. For example, you can make this macro work only if you are at home, etc.

7. After this, you need to add a name for the macro and click on the plus sign at the bottom right.

Let's check the work of our macro

We go into the EchoBot bot and send a message delayed for one minute:

🔥 A new limited gift has appeared

№ 72 (6028426950047957932)

🎯 Total amount: 400,000 ❓ Available amount: 0 (0%, updated at 04-01-2025 22:06:00 UTC)

💎 Price: 25 ⭐️ ♻️ Convert price: 21 ⭐️

In a minute we should receive a notification, and in another minute the alarm will go off.

What can be improved

The downside of this method is the alarm delay of one minute. To solve this problem, you can select Play/Stop Sound from the Media category in the actions instead of the alarm, and then there will be no delay. However, it is better to choose a short audio, because you will not be able to stop it (as an option, you can simply turn off the sound).
