Malaysian car manufacturer proton has launched its new X70 compact SUV in Pakistan. As a result of the epidemic, the launch was attended by almost a limited audience in person. It is reported that the X70 will be supplied in Pakistan as a complete assembly unit (CBU) imported from Malaysia.
In December alone, car enthusiasts will witness the launch of a series of models, including Changan Alston, Rongguang Prince 580 pro and Toyota Corolla X.
Engine and performance
According to details disclosed to the media during the press conference, the Proton X70 will be equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder gasoline engine, capable of producing 177 horsepower and 255 nm of torque.
The car is expected to launch two variants in the Pakistan automotive market: all-wheel drive (AWD) and front wheel drive (FWD). Its transmission is a 7-speed automatic DCT.
The X70 will have eco and Sport driving modes that users can activate as needed.
External
The Proton X70 made a positive statement of its front grille and bumper. The wheel size is 18 inches, and the cross compact SUV is chrome plated on the side for an elegant appearance.
The headlamp is a basic model based on halogen and daytime running lights, but more advanced variants may get adaptive LED headlights and exclusive features such as auto dip.
