April 11 - International Animeshnik Day
Every year on April 11, fans of Japanese cartoons, actors and representatives of the subculture around the world celebrate a holiday dedicated to the art of anime.
🤗Today we will briefly tell you about the differences between anime and cartoons familiar to us, as well as interesting facts
The sources for the plot of anime series are most often: manga
(Japanese comics), ranobe (light novel) or computer games (usually in the genre of "visual novel")
One of the main features of the anime drawing is the unnaturally large eyes of the characters. The character of the character is usually indicated by the attributes of appearance, for example, clothes and hairstyle
The transfer of emotions in anime is a reason for a separate conversation. In addition to the traditional types of expression of feelings by the character — by changing the expression of his face or the tone of his voice, a number of other techniques are used.
Interesting facts about anime:
⌛️- The longest anime series is "Sadzae-san", which has been released since 1969 to this day. There are more than 7 thousand episodes in it. The vaunted "Santa Barbara", for comparison, is almost 3.5 times shorter
💰- The highest—grossing anime is "Gone with the Ghosts" by Hayao Miyazaki. The film grossed $275 million worldwide.
📽- The first anime in the world was created around 1907. A short cartoon called "Katsudo shishin". The boy depicted on them draws hieroglyphs 活動写真, meaning "moving photographs" and used at that time to denote the word "cinema", then turns to the viewer, takes off his hat and bows. The artist and author of this animation are unknown
🖌- The Japanese invented the drawing of hair and body in anime, but the eye style was copied from Walt Disney, which the Japanese, by the way, do not deny.
🧻- In Japan, more paper is spent on printing comics than on the production of toilet paper rolls.
