International Siblings Day

National Siblings Day is celebrated on 10 April 🇮🇳In India, this holiday is called Rakshabandhan and has existed since 400 AD, but is celebrated a little at another time (July-August).

🇺🇲In America, this holiday was created by Claudia Ewart in honor of her brother and sister, who died in two different accidents when they were small.

We’ll list some interesting facts about brothers and sisters.

🧠Older siblings are slightly smarter than younger siblings. Several studies indicate that older siblings have IQ higher than younger siblings. But the younger ones have better sense of humor.

🕺According to a study in the Netherlands, younger siblings may be more extroverted.

🗯️If parents fight a lot, the bond between siblings gets stronger.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦You’re less likely to divorce if you have a brother or sister. A study by Ohio State University showed that the more siblings you have, the better your chances of dealing with conflict and understanding relationship dynamics. This ultimately results in a 7 per cent reduction in the future divorce rate for each sibling.

🗯️The bickering between brothers and sisters is really NATURAL.

🕊️Some studies show that the order of birth can shape your personality. The older child in the family tends to feel a great burden of responsibility. The younger ones characterize themselves as more accommodating, relaxed and cheerful.
