How To Mine NEXA Coin? Detailed Guide
Updating the HiveOS.
Step 1. Before setting up the miner, don't forget to update the HiveOS:
Updating the driver.
Step 2. You also need to update the driver and install the latest version
Go to the Shell menu and click Hive Shell Start
Update drivers with the nvidia-driver-update command.
Setting the miner.
Step 3. Stop the current miner and start the new one.
Go to Miner Actions and click Stop Miner.
Creating the wallet.
Step 4. Go to Wallets Page and create a wallet.
Important notice! Since current exchanges do not allow you to mine Nexa coins directly, you have to do it only through the desktop wallet. So we will take the wallet from Nexa official site www.nexa.org/download
Highly recommended to install the new coin wallet on a separate system! Safety first!
In addition, it is not difficult to do. So we take a separate SSD, install Windows and Nexa wallet there.
Moving on. Go to www.nexa.org/download and download the zip archive of the wallet. There are different systems, but as I said, it is better and more convenient to have a separate SSD with Windows installed.
Creating the Nexa flight sheet.
Step 5. Next, go to FlightSheet and create a flight sheet. Specify our NEXA coin and our wallet named Nexa.
Setting up the mining pool.
Fill in the fields in the Wallet template: %WAL%.%WORKER_NAME%, Pool URL: pool.eu.woolypooly.com:3124 or pool.us.woolypooly.com:3124 if you are from the US.
Click Apply Changes.
Enter the name of the flight sheet, for example, Nexa_woolypooly and click Create Flight Sheet.
Step 6. Launch our recently created flight sheet.
To monitor, as well as analyze the work of workers, go to the pool page https://woolypooly.com/en/coin/nexa and enter your wallet address.
