Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Heroes, we’ve gathered answers to the most frequently asked questions about hero ranks and more!
Q: My characters are gone. What should I do?
A: Don’t worry, you still have all your characters. Some of them have now become heroes or hero skins. If you had a character who became a skin, you received both the skin and its matching hero. To select a skin, use the same button as you would for hats and masks. Q: I can’t upgrade the hero’s rank because I lack mastery points. Where can I get them?
A: Heroes mastery points are awarded as you increase hero’s ranks. If you’re short on mastery points, switch to a different hero and increase their rank to earn the points you need for further upgrades.
Q: How do I equip a skin? The button is inactive.
A: To equip a skin, first select the hero which matches that skin. Tap the “equip” button on the hero, then go to the skins section and equip the desired skin using the corresponding button.
Q: I completed a personal order, but it requires credits to increase the rank. I thought it was free.
A: Completing a personal order allows you to upgrade a rank using credits. This is noted in the game. You can increase the rank with gold; then, you don’t need to complete a personal order.
Q: Where did my masks and hats go?
A: All your masks and hats are still available; they've just been reassigned to specific heroes and skins. Some accessories can now only be equipped by certain heroes or skins.
Q: I received an accessory but can’t find it in the equipment. Where is it?
A: If you can’t find your new accessory, please contact us on social media or via support at [email protected], and we’ll help you find out which hero or skin it’s for.
Q: To earn heroes mastery points, I need to increase heroes ranks, but to increase ranks, I need heroes mastery points. Isn’t this a closed loop?
A: Switch to a hero whose rank you can increase with your current mastery points. For example, if you're trying to reach rank 4 but need more mastery points, focus on leveling up heroes at rank 1 or 2 first. Each rank increase will give you additional mastery points, which you can then use toward higher ranks.
Q: My flamethrower has disappeared, and I can’t find it in the special weapons section.
A: The Flamethrower weapon was removed from the special weapons section. Instead, all players now have the active skill “Flamethrower.” If you previously owned the weapon, you received compensation.
Q: My poison gas is gone, and I can’t find it in the special weapons section.
A: The Poison Gas weapon was also removed from the special weapons section. Players who previously owned this weapon have received the new active skill “Acid Gun.”
Q: Where did the second slot for grenades go?
A: Now, there's a separate button for active skills, so to keep the interface uncluttered, we've limited consumable items to one slot, allowing you to equip either grenades, mines, or other items.
Q: Why were the factions removed from battles?
A: With the introduction of hero ranks, this was a technical requirement. Now, you can play as any hero you want. After all, there’s always room for spies on the battlefield! :)
