Active Skills
In the 1.47 update, we will introduce active skills, significantly changing the usual battle tactics.
How do active skills work?
There will be four active skills in the game: "Combat dog", "Turret", "Flamethrower", and "Acid gun." These skills are activated through a special button in combat.
âť— Attention! Current user interface settings will be reset due to the introduction of a new button.
All skills have a limited duration. Additionally:
- The "Combat dog" skill is further limited by the number of kills the dog can make;
- The other skills are further limited by the amount of ammo available.
Key features of active skills:
- Each hero can use only one active skill at a time;
- An unlimited number of heroes can equip the same skill;
- If a player is killed before activating the skill, the skill’s cooldown timer continues without resetting;
- If a player switches to a class with the same equipped skill, the cooldown timer continues without resetting;
- Active skills can be equipped in the "Equipment" section. They cannot be swapped during a battle, so it’s important to choose it wisely beforehand;
- When a skill’s duration ends, it disappears from the map. Once the cooldown timer is over, the skill can be activated again;
- All skills have a limit on how many of them can be active on the map. The skill can't be activated if the limit is reached, and the player will receive a warning. For example, in "Team Deathmatch", if two turrets are active across both teams, you won’t be able to place yours.
Now, let’s look at each skill individually.
Combat dog
This skill allows you to summon a temporary companion to the battlefield.
The dog can search for and attack enemies across the whole battlefield. Key features of the skill:
- The dog only deals damage to enemy players;
- The dog can only take damage from enemy firearms, light vehicles, and tank machine guns;
- The dog has its own health, which depends on the player’s armor tier. When the health runs out, the dog disappears;
- If the owner is killed, the dog does not disappear.
Turret
This is a heavy, rapid-fire machine gun mounted on a tripod.
- The Turret deals damage to enemy players and vehicles;
- The Turret provides partial protection to the player from incoming damage;
- After pressing the activation button during combat, the player needs to choose a place to set up the Turret. If the selected spot is suitable, the Turret will be highlighted in blue; if not, it will be in red;
- Only the player who activated the skill can use the Turret;
- The player can leave the Turret anytime by pressing a separate button. Once left, it remains on the map until the skill's duration ends;
- If the Turret is destroyed, it disappears (regardless of whether the player is using it or not).
Flamethrower
This skill gives temporary access to a powerful weapon that shoots a stream of fire.
Acid gun
This skill functions similarly to the Flamethrower, but the Acid gun shoots a stream of acid.
Important:
- After the update, the "Poison gas" weapon will be removed from the "Special weapons" section. Players who own it will automatically receive the "Acid gun" skill;
- The "Flamethrower" weapon will also be removed from the "Special weapons" section. All players will receive the "Flamethrower" skill. Those who owned the weapon will receive compensation.
