EMS training. How to invest €350 and get €6250 in 3 months
Hello everyone! My name’s Maksim Kirsanov. I’m the CEO of Digital Marketing Company Wwwin (https://wwwin.ru/). Our team professionally helps entrepreneurs to develop their business online.
Today we are going to talk about promoting EMS training on social media.
The idea of health and healthy lifestyle is now more popular than ever. People willingly try all sorts of new gadgets which allow them to stay in shape putting in less time and effort.
EMS training is exactly what it takes: a modern and effective way to keep fit. For those who are not familiar with it yet, let me explain how it works.
A person puts on a special training suit which sends electric impulses to the muscles during the training. It increases the effectiveness of the exercise by 2-3 times compared to an ordinary workout. In other words, within a short time which is only 20-30 minutes, you get a result as if you have worked out at a gym.
How it all started:
A client contacted us after being recommended our company. It was a many-time bodybuilding champion, a real expert in her field. Up to that moment she had no experience in promotion. We had to work out a strategy and develop the project from scratch.
Our proposition:
We decided to create a landing page and to drive traffic to it from social media – Facebook and Instagram. We used this model before and it provided good results, so we tried to bring this strategy into action in this project as well.
How it worked:
At the beginning that tactics worked fine. The audience’s interest to EMS training was on the rise: we got a lot of positive reactions to advertising; people linked to the website and made requests.
There was only one substantial catch. The price of requests on the site turned out to be higher that we initially estimated. Thanks to the strategy we had chosen, we collected those who were interested in trying EMS training. Then happened the inevitable – the conversion rate dropped.
Then we decided to implement another promotional model, and it proved to be right and produced real results.
Targeting:
Social media presence is an essential component of any project; the result depends on it. In our case, the client managed social media herself and did it well. We had to just advertise it properly.
We launched advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. We selected 16 audiences and conducted test campaigns among them. Following the test’s result we singled out 5 audiences, which showed the needed price of a lead established by the client – €3.
People who got interested in EMS training were led to sending a message. Everyone who clicked the link in the advertisement automatically began a dialogue with the community. This is how we obtained requests.
We tested different audiences and hypotheses. Below you can see the examples of advertisement:
And these are the numbers we got:
We set up automatic replies for users and it helped people to make requests:
Results:
We managed to achieve the goals we had set in the beginning: now the client has a steady flow of new clients. We taught her to lead them up to buying a membership. Our cooperation is going on and we have many plans and things to work on.
In 3 months:
Expenditures - €350 + tax
Amount of requests – 149
Average request price – €2,5
New clients who bought a membership – 25 (a membership costs €250)
Total €6250
As a conclusion:
Once again we managed to prove that social media has got a lot of potential, especially in the EU countries. But clients aren’t going to come to you by themselves. What you need is a clear strategy and a sound understanding of your audience. You have to work with social media, develop and promote it wisely. You shouldn’t put it off since new competitors are coming to the industry every day.
