Two ideas for how to entertain yourself in Amsterdam
Holidays go well if you plan them. So I'm sharing two places that I liked and enjoyed on this week.
The first place is the Brazilian theater — Munganga. The theater is incredibly cozy, family-friendly, with some interesting paintings, exotic things hanging on the walls. In the theater you can watch movies, listen to interesting performers from Latin America, and sometimes there are dances. Ticket prices range from 5 to 20 euros usually. If you have children, you might find something interesting for them in the agenda also.
The second place is the comedy show — Boom Chicago. I haven't been to any other comedy shows, but I liked this one here because every show is unique. The actors have to improvise every time. Also, the actors are interacting with the audience all the time, which adds a kind of vibrancy to what's going on. The ticket price is about 20 euros. But there are also performances where students participate and then the ticket price is 7 euros. I went to both performances and I liked them equally.
