Wantapply — AI-powered hiring platform

Hey everyone! Job search has become increasingly complex for candidates. Wantapply want to change this problem.

What is the founder’s background?

My name is Eldar. I have 10 years in product design. Worked at Wargaming, designing interfaces for World of Tanks, created gameplay UI for the football simulator UFL, and launched the FPS shooter Ncore.

Before game development, worked in e-commerce agencies, designing interfaces for M.Video, Castorama, and other major online retailers.

Since 2025, we’ve put our whole selves into building and growing wantapply.com community. We’re proud of what we shipped and grateful for the thousands of people we’ve helped. We believe candidates discover opportunities close to home — and allows employers to reach local talent quickly and efficiently.

Our misson and future:

  • We gonna launch niche job platforms to target to specified market, industry or locations like olx. For example, for Cyprus, Poland or Latin America.
  • On the platform, companies that post directly are marked with a badge, and there is also a recruiter section with direct applications. We do not want to become a dumping ground for job listings. On aggregators, you do not know who posted the job.
  • We focus on narrow niches and local markets. Right now, on global platforms, almost all jobs are for relocation, global remote work, or limited to a specific country or region. On LinkedIn, for example, you cannot select multiple locations.
  • We work with companies directly, and we are also building an ATS connector to exchange data on job posting freshness and automate publishing. We offer direct contact with employers, and in the future there will also be a referral program.

Features:

AI Matchmaker for right candidate and right companies.

AI Resume builder. Instantly generate polished, role-specific resumes designed to capture recruiters’ attention and help you land interviews faster.

AI cover letter generator. Craft persuasive cover letters tailored to your target roles, showcasing your strengths and driving hiring managers to take a closer look.

Problems we solve

Right candidates are invisible to hiring systems. The job search today is chaos. Aggregators are full of duplicates, outdated listings, spam, and scam postings.

We’re here to change that by reimagining the job search experience from the ground up, empowering candidates with smarter, more effective tools that match the evolution of modern hiring.

There are tons of remote and relocates jobs that live only because the filters in LinkedIn is broken.

Companies have upgraded their hiring processes with advanced ATS and AI recruiters, while the tools available to job seekers haven’t evolved much since platforms like Indeed were founded. Existing solutions offer minor tweaks, but nobody innovates.

What does the job board market look like today?

The job platform market is growing by about $4.8 billion annually. It’s important to understand that this is a mature market, but in recent years it has been undergoing transformation. Around 74% of platforms already use AI in matching and recruitment.

In almost every region or country, there is a strong local leader whose market share often exceeds that of global platforms — especially outside the IT sector. For example:

  • Bayt.com in the MENA region
  • Bumeran.com and Computrabajo.com in Latin America
  • StepStone in Germany

The primary monetization models for job platforms are one-time job postings, paid visibility/boosting of listings, and access to candidate contact databases.

Trends:
In Europe and North America, the share of niche platforms and social networks — especially LinkedIn — in recruitment is already close to that of traditional job boards.

The overall direction is a shift toward ecosystems: recruitment platforms are integrating ATS systems, candidate assessment tools, communication automation, and analytics for channel performance.
