ninja posting
My first actual Blender 2.9 2d animation. I did this during the kid's naps yesterday. When I can get them both asleep at the same time, I know I better use my time wisely. What better way to use those 2 hours than to make a ninja animation?
I had stayed up until like 2am the night before following along with Dedouze's tutorials for the grease pencil, and felt confident I could do something with it. I pretty much remembered everything, but there was one more thing I had to learn to perfect this: motion tracking. <— That's the best tutorial I could find that didn't have 30 minutes of bloat tacked on.
Man, I had a lot of fun with this project. It's so simple, and I can't wait to do it again (this time without the extra hour of muddling around blender's interface trying to figure out how to turn on transparency.) And it might be a teaser of another project coming up. More animation coming up for sure. I love the interaction of 2d objects in a 3d space.
Now I can use blender for a lot more than just a designer for my obscure watch mods.
