Adventages and disadvantages of one global language.

Is it good to have one global language? In our days there are 3 most spoken laguages. They are: English, Chinese and Russian languages. Some people think that one of this 3 languages will predominate over all other languages, but is it really so good if we have one global language?

In one hand, there are some adventages of having one global language. Firstly: it will brake up a few barriers between different countries and cultures. It would be easy to communicate with each other. Secondly: it would help of economic growth. There will be no need to hire translators, teach people different languages and all documents will be in one language. All this factors will decrease costs of all governments.

On the other hand, there are obvious disadvantages of having one global language. First and the most important disadvantage: it would mean that all other languages would eventually disappear and along with them, their cultures. Each culture is unique with its own way of life. Secondly: it will make a new elite. The native speakers may become arrogant, because of their status. Thirdly: it would mean that we will have no reason to learn other languages.

In conclusion, i want to mention that, there are a lot of adventages of having one global language, but it will cost too much for the future generations.
