Rumours about the zkSync Era have roused users. In order to get a possible zkSync Era airdrop, it is important to engage with the ecosystem and invest liquidity in the protocol. So, how can you participate in zkSync airdrop? Below we have explained it for you both visually and in writing.
By offering users lower commissions and faster withdrawals, zkSync is considered a project worth following. Judging by the price dynamics of coins issued by networks such as Optimism and Arbitrum, zkSync is set to release one of this year's most highly anticipated tokens in the near future. This will happen when the project launches DAO. A tradable token is expected to be released as soon as possible.
Before the presale, community members have the opportunity to be the first to get one of this year's most promising tokens. How to do it? Let's find out step by step. It is important to understand that this is a new technology in blockchain and token sales have not yet started, but nevertheless the zksync Era community is already growing rapidly and attracting attention from NFT and other trading platforms.
After that, we are waiting for our wallet to connect to the Zksync bridge...
You will participate in the airdrop by sending ethereum from your Metamask wallet's "Ethereum Mainnet" account to your "zkSync Era" account in Ethereum Mainnet. Both accounts will belong to you, you will not lose your coins, you will only pay a fee during the transactions. The fees are a bit high when exiting ethereum, as you can see in the screenshots below, but they are quite reasonable when exiting zkSync network.
After the transaction, your wallet balance will only decrease by the amount of the fee. Your wallet will only have a transfer from the 'Ethereum Mainnet' account to the 'zkSync Era' account you see on screen.
Once your wallet is connected, we select the amount (ETH in our case) to transfer tokens through the zksync era bridge
When you have completed these steps, your tokens are already on the balance of your account on the website, together with the amount of ETH you have sent. To withdraw tokens to your wallet (Metamask in our case), you need to select the amount of ETH you want to withdraw and click on "Withdraw"
To make a reverse transaction, go from 'Deposit' to 'Withdraw'. As a result of this process, you will receive your coins that you sent to zkSync back to your wallet on the ethereum network.
So what is zkSync?
ZkSync is a zero-knowledge, second-tier scaling solution built on the Ethereum blockchain. Layer 2 solutions increase efficiency by moving away from the core network and operating without relatively more load on the core network. ZkSync is also a trust-free protocol that promises to accelerate transactions even further and gain lower fees per transaction by verifying transactions in groups through aggregation.
ZkSync includes support for account abstraction, which allows the creation of more complex crypto-purses that offer greater functionality. This means that the wallet may require additional security steps such as multi-signature or two-factor authentication.
Currently, all transactions on zkSync are transparent and transaction details are public. However, the team confirmed that there are plans to introduce privacy as an inherent feature of the protocol to encourage mass adoption.
