Naqshbandiya tariqati pirlaridan biri Xoja Ali Romitaniy umrining oxirida Xorazm darvozasiga yetganida, unga kirib joylashish uchun ruxsat olib kelish maqsadida ikki muridini shohning huzuriga yuboradi. “Shohga borib aytinglar, eshigingizga bir faqir tikuvchi keldi, shahringizga joylashish uchun sizdan ijozat so’rayapti. Ruxsat bersangiz shaharga kiradi, yo’qsa ortiga qaytib ketadi. Agar ijozat bersangiz, buni tasdiqlash uchun farmon yoki hujjat talab qilyapti”, denglar” – deya ularni jo’natadi. Kelganlarning gaplarini eshitgan shoh yuzlab odamlar ruxsatsiz kirib chiqayotgan bu shaharga kirish uchun ijozat so’rayotgan to’quvchiga muhri bosilgan ruxsatnoma qog’ozini yuboradi. Shohning ruxsatini olgan Xoja Ali Romitaniy shaharga kirib, kimsasiz mahallaga joylashishni afzal biladi. Bu yerda irshod (-- suluk yo’liga boshlash) uchun shu paytga qadar uchramagan bir usulda odamlar bilan munosabatga kirishgani rivoyat qilinadi. Har tong mardikor bozoriga borib yuk kelishini kutayotgan hammollarning qo’liga kundalik daromadini tutqazib, uyiga olib keladi. Keyin esa ularga: “Sizning ishingiz darrov tahorat olib, asr vaqtiga qadar bu yerda bizning suhbatimizda bo’lishdir” – deydi va ularga ibodatni, poklikni o’rgatadi, ilm beradi. Asta sekin Xojayi Azizonning Xorazmning chekka qismidagi uyi ziyoratchilar bilan to’lib tosha boshlaydi. Tez orada Xoja Ali Romitaniyning xalq muhabbatini qozonib, hurmati ortib borayotganidan xavotirga tushgan kimsalar: “Bu ketishda shayx yurtimizga shoh bo’ladi… saltanatimiz bir to’quvchi tomonidan barbod qilinadi” – deya hukmdorga shikoyat qiladilar. Shoh ham fitnachilarning gapiga ishonib, “Aytinglar, darhol shaharni tark etsin” – deya (OG’ZAKI) farmon berib, lashkarini Xoja Ali Romitaniy oldiga yuboradi. Xoja Ali Romitaniy shohning shaharga kirishga ruxsatnomasini chiqarib: “Biz shaxsan hukmdorning muhri bosilgan va shaharda yashashimizga izn berilgan farmonga egamiz. Agar hukmdor iznini va muhrini inkor etsa, chiqib ketishga rozimiz” – deydi. Choparlar shayxning aytganlarini hukmdorga yetkazganlarida, u o’z xatosini tushunadi, Xoja Ali Romitaniy huziriga keladi va muridlari safidan joy oladi.

English 🇬🇧:
When one of the mentors of the Naqshbandi sect, Khwaja Ali Romitani, reached the gate of Khorezm at the end of his life, he sent two of his disciples to the king in order to get permission to enter and settle there. "Go and tell the king that a poor tailor has come to your door and is asking for your permission to settle in your city. If you give him a permission, he will enter the city, otherwise he will go back. If you allow him, he is requiring a decree or a document to confirm this," he says to them and sends them away. After hearing what the visitors said, the king sends a stamped permission slip to the weaver who is asking for permission to enter this city where hundreds of people enter and leave without permission. Khwaja Ali Romitani, who received the Shah's permission, prefers to enter the city and settle in a deserted neighborhood. Here, it is narrated that in order to guide people, he began to interact with them in a way that has not been seen before. Every morning, he goes to the labor market and pays their daily income to the hands of porters who are waiting for the cargo to arrive. Then he tells them: "Your job is to perform ablution right away and stay here in our company until the late afternoon" and teaches them prayer, purity, and knowledge. Little by little, Hojayi Azizon's house in the outskirts of Khorezm starts to fill up with pilgrims. Those who are worried about the fact that Khoja Ali Romitani is gaining the love of the people and his respect is increasing, complain to the ruler: "With this departure, the sheikh will become the king of our country... our kingdom will be destroyed by a weaver." The Shah believed the words of the conspirators and ordered (VERBALLY) "Tell him to leave the city immediately" and sent his army to Khoja Ali Romitani. Khoja Ali Romitani took out the king's permission to enter the city and said: "We personally have a decree with the seal of the ruler and we are allowed to live in the city. If the ruler denies his permission and seal, we agree to leave." When the they convey what the sheikh said to the ruler, the king realizes his mistake, comes to Khoja Ali Romitani and takes a place among his students.
