Xojagon-Naqshbandiya tariqatiga kirgan Solik(– tariqatga kirgan kishi)larning kiyim boshlari sunnatga muvofiq bo’lib, boshqa mo’minlarning kiyimlaridan farq qilmasligi kerak… har kim o’z kasbiga mos kiyim kiyadi, xalq orasida ko’rinishi va kiyinishi bilan ajralib turmaydi. Zero darveshlik qolip bilan emas, qalb bilandir.

Bir darvesh: “Agar Alloh taolo menga jannat bilan jahannamdan birini tanlash ixtiyorini bersa, men jahannamni tanlayman. Chunki umrim davomida nafsim istagini bajardim. Hozirgi holatimda jannatni xohlasam, bu ham nafsim xohishidir…”. Hazrat Xoja bu so’zni rad qilib shunday dedi: “Bandaning joy tanlashda ixtiyori yo’q! U bizga qayerni ravo ko’rsa, boramiz, qayerda bo’l, desa, o’sha yerda bo’lamiz. Bandalik budir, sen aytganing kabi emasdir.”

… Adabiyotshunos olim Ibrohim Haqqul “Xoja Orif Mohitobon” essesida mohitobon hazratlarining o’z piri buzrukvoridan eshitgan bir hikoyasini keltiradi: “Horun ar-Rashid zamonasida nufuzli bir amaldor bor ekan. U har kuni Hizr (alayhissalom) bilan ko’rishib, suhbatlashar ekan. Bir kuni shu kishi o’z ishiga iste’fo beribdi. Va zohid bo’lib, insonlardan bir chetda toat ibodatga sho’ng’ibdi. Lekin uning Hizr bilan uchrashishi to’xtabdi, ya’ni Hizr alayhissalom uning huzuriga kelmay qo’yibdi… Zohid esa tundam tonga qadar Allohga yolvorib, ko’z yoshlarini to’kib, tovba-tazarru etishdan to’xtamabdi. Nihoyat tushiga Hizr alayhissalom kirgach, u yolvorib debdi: “Ey vafoli do’st! Men sen bilan doimiy suhbat qurmoq maqsadida dunyo ishlariga etak silkitdim. Uzlatga chekinib, tanholikda ibodatga kirishdim. Sen esa diydoringni darig’ tutding. Nechun bunday bo’ldi?” Hizr alayhissalom debdi “Ey rafiq! Mening sen ila ko’rishib, suhbatlashuvimning boisi, qilayotgan ibodatlar, xayr-hasanot uchun emasdir. Balki o’sha mas’ul vazifada musulmonlarning ishlarini haq va adolat bilan bajo keltirganing uchun edi. Sen o’zingning shaxsiy kamolotinh uchun bir go’shaga chekinding. O’z ma’naviy manfaatingni ko’pchilik manfaatidan ustun qo’yding. Endi sening o’rningni egallagan adolatsiz kimsa mo’min musulmonlarga zulm va noshar’iy ishlar bilan alam va azob yetkamoqda… Bularning bariga sen sabab bo’lding! Shuni bilginki, … uzlatga kirib, ro’za tutib, namoz o’qib, zikr aylashni hamma ham ado etmog’i mumkin. Biroq xalqqa xolis, yuksak ma’rifat va diyonat maqomida xizmat ko’rsatishni hamma ham uddalay olmas!”

The clothing of Salik (- a person who joined tariqa— the sufi doctrine) who joined the Khojagon-Naqshbandiya tariqa should be in accordance with the Sunnah and should not differ from the clothes of other believers... everyone wears clothes suitable for their profession, they do not stand out among the people by their appearance and dress . Because dervishness is not by mold, but by heart.
A dervish said: "If Allah gives me the choice between heaven and hell, I will choose hell." Because all my life I have fulfilled my desire. If I want paradise in my current state, it is also my ego's desire...". Hazrat Khoja rejected this statement and said: "A servant has no choice in choosing a place! We will go wherever he sends us, and wherever he tells us to be, we will be. That's what servitude is, it's not what you say."

... Literary scholar Ibrahim Haqqul in his essay "Khoja Arif Mohitoban" cites a story that he heard from his mentor: "There was an influential official in the time of Harun al-Rashid. He met and talked with Hizr (peace be upon him) every day. One day this person resigned from his job. And he became a hermit and immersed himself in obedient prayer away from people. But his meeting with Hizr stopped, that is, Hizr, peace be upon him, did not come to him... And Zahid did not stop begging God, shedding tears, and repenting. When he finally dream about Hizr, he begged and said: "O faithful friend! I gave up on worldly affairs in order to have a constant conversation with you. I retreated to solitude and began to pray. And you stopped visiting me . Why did this happen?" Hizr, peace be upon him, said, "O friend! The reason for my meeting and talking with you is not for the sake of your prayers. But it was because you performed the affairs of Muslims with truth and justice in that responsible task. You retreated to a corner for your personal development. You put your spiritual interests above the interests of the majority. Now an unjust person who has taken your place is causing pain and suffering to believers with oppression and unsharic actions... You are the cause of all this! You should know that... everyone can perform fasting, prayer and dhikr by entering the shrine. However, not everyone can serve the people impartially, with high enlightenment and consciousness!"
