The Life Cycle of Waste and Waste Management

An efficient solid waste management system's main objective is to obtain the maximum amount of useful resources from waste and produce energy so that the least amount of waste is to be dumped in the landfill area. The reason for this is that the garbage dumped in the landfill is suffering heavy losses. One, it requires a lot of lands, which is constantly reducing, and secondly, there is a possible cause of air, soil, and water pollution. It is the responsibility of waste producers to sort waste, which is the basic requirement of solid waste management.
