INK NODE | PER ONE CLICK 🔥

1. First of all, purchase a server from AEZA, Contabo or Spacecore.

We’ve started using the AEZA service more due to its high reliability and speed. However, you can also choose Contabo.

Server specifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 8 vCPU
  • 8 GB RAM (better with 16GB RAM)
  • SSD drive (NVME recommended) with at least 100GB storage

2. Set up the server on your PC.

Log in using the command root@ip.

But before that, we recommend securing your server. Read more in our article.

3. Check the ports before installation.

The INK node uses the following ports: TCP ports: 8545
8546
30303
9222
7300
6060

Before installing the node, make sure these ports are not in use.

What are ports and what role do they play in nodes? - Read more

4. Install the script.

Run the following command and download:

sudo bash -c 'git clone https://github.com/dknodes/inkDK.git && cd inkDK && chmod ugo+x inkDK.sh && ./inkDK.sh'
1. Check Port Availability ℹ️
2. Install Node 🛠️
3. Restart Node 🔄
4. Shutdown Node 📦
5. Delete Node ❌
6. Check Logs for node-op-geth 📄
7. Check Logs for node-op-node 📄
8. Backup Your Generated Wallet 🖥️
9. Exit 🚪

To use the commands, press the appropriate number and then the "enter".

Example Usage: Installing the Node

Step 1: Check the ports

Check the ports before installation with Command 1.

Step 2: Install Node

From the main menu, enter 2 to choose the Install Node option.

‼️ After that, the installation kicks off. It’s going to download a file that’s over 30 GB. Once unpacked, the node will need more than 70 GB, so make sure your server has at least 100 GB of storage for the INK node.
