Cold emails for candidates that work properly
Here are some rules to help you find contact with your candidate.
βοΈ Gather complete information about the vacancy and the project.
ππ» who created the company, where the head office is;
ππ» main tasks of the job, growth prospects;
ππ» salary, bonuses.
Highlight Selling Points based on this. Try to understand what things will be essential for the Middle, and the Senior / Lead. For example, Senior definitely won't be redundant in a Middles team (just to be sure), as well as, the availability of career growth and the company's contribution to the employee development. And for Senior / Lead, this list can be even longer - from various motivational bonuses to influencing the decision-making at a project work!
βοΈ Creating a message
1) Form the subject line/ title in the message - up to 6 words about the vacancy + key points (who are you looking for and in what city)
2) Based on the collected information, write 2-3 short paragraphs about the vacancy (basic facts about the vacancy + Selling Points), and follow these rules:
πΉ Be specific: use numbers and avoid generalizations;
πΉ Add βlifeβ to the text: write an interesting fact about the company, employees and so on (there must be something).
3) Write correctly and without mistakes.
4) Write to each candidate separately and avoid a mass mailing.
5) Do not forget about Follow-ups if a candidate hasn't answered on your the first e-mail /message.
Of course, it is impossible to find a universal approach to every candidate. We sincerely wish your messages from the first word could unite you and all your candidates.
