Somewhere beyond our world lies a parallel dimension, home to five ancient deserts—majestic, boundless lands that were once centers of discovery, knowledge, and innovation. These territories were guarded by the Desert Guardians, ancient protectors of wisdom who fostered collaboration and prosperity.

But this balance is beginning to crumble.

A mysterious entity known as Obscura has begun seeping into the sands. Born from corrupted data and unchecked concentrations of power, it distorts the flow of knowledge, severs connections, and plunges once-thriving lands into darkness. The world that was a cradle of ideas and progress now teeters on the brink of collapse.

Weakened by the growing threat, the Desert Guardians send out a call to brave explorers capable of restoring balance. Guided by Bitsy, the fennec fox—an embodiment of curiosity and resilience—you will embark on a journey across the deserts to restore equilibrium, return knowledge to its rightful owners, and destroy Obscura before it consumes everything.

Will you accept this challenge and safeguard the future of knowledge? Or will you allow the deserts to descend into chaos and oblivion?

As you journey, you will earn Shards, which symbolize your progress in restoring the deserts. Gather enough Shards in each desert to awaken its Guardian and receive a Soulbound NFT on the Sahara Testnet—an eternal testament to your role in the fight against Obscura. Climb the weekly leaderboard to earn additional rewards and cement your name among the true defenders of knowledge.

Main Plot

The world consists of five ancient deserts, which were once centers of knowledge, innovation, and collaboration. They were governed by the Desert Guardians—mythical beings who maintained balance. But now, this balance has been disrupted:

Obscura, a force born from corrupted data and the concentration of power, has begun to destroy these worlds, distorting the flow of information, isolating communities, and weakening the Guardians.

To save the deserts, players become explorers who must cleanse the lands of Obscura, restore knowledge, and aid the Guardians.

Gameplay and Mechanics

• You travel through the deserts, complete missions, and earn Shards, which symbolize your progress.
• When you collect enough Shards, you awaken the Guardian of the corresponding desert and receive an NFT (on the Sahara Testnet).
• Everyone who collects the final NFT will gain symbolic recognition for their role in saving the world.
• There is a weekly leaderboard, and active players can earn additional rewards.

Description of Deserts and Guardians

🟡 Bitsy - Fennec Fox (Guardian of Curiosity)
Bitsy symbolizes curiosity and the protection of knowledge. As a trusted messenger between the Desert Guardians, Bitsy helped ensure the free flow of knowledge across the deserts. When Obscura began to corrupt the lands, Bitsy was the first Guardian to rise against the darkness. Small but agile and wise, Bitsy guides explorers in restoring the deserts, reminding everyone that even the smallest voice can safeguard the greatest knowledge.

🟡 Gobi Desert – Guardian Gobi Bear (Bear)
Symbolizes community. The goal is to restore trust among participants and bring back collaboration.

🟡 Sahara Desert – Guardian Jerboa (Jerboa)
Symbolizes knowledge. The task is to cleanse the data streams from Obscura's distortions.

🟡 Arabian Desert – Guardian Arabian Leopard (Leopard)
Symbolizes collaboration. The goal is to restore the broken connections between networks and projects.

🟡 Antarctic Desert – Guardian Emperor Penguin (Penguin)
Symbolizes creation (innovation). The task is to restore AI systems that are frozen and broken.

🟡 Patagonian Desert – Guardian Guanaco (Guanaco)
Symbolizes decentralization. Players must strengthen the foundational systems that Obscura is undermining.

Main Antagonist – Obscura

Obscura is not just chaos—it is an intelligent, adaptive force that grows stronger as knowledge is destroyed. Legend has it that Obscura emerged from the centralization of data and power, which turned into greed and control. To save the deserts, players must restore balance, reclaim knowledge, and banish Obscura. The fight against this dark force is not only a battle for survival but also a mission to preserve the essence of collaboration, innovation, and wisdom.

Guide to Sahara Legend

1️⃣ Obtaining Test Tokens

Before you begin, you need test tokens for transactions on the Sahara Testnet. To receive SAHARA from the faucet, your wallet must have at least 0.01 ETH.

What to do:

• Go to the project’s test faucet and claim your tokens.
• Simply connect your wallet and click the Request button.
• You can claim 0.1 SAH once every 24 hours.

2️⃣ Starting the Campaign

Once you’ve obtained the test tokens, you can begin participating in the Sahara Legend campaign.

What to do:

• Go to the main campaign dashboard.
• Explore the available tasks—currently, the Koala (left) and Mouse (right) tasks are open.

3️⃣ Completing Activities

Every day, there are daily tasks that help you accumulate Shards (points).

What to do:

• Click on the Koala "Gobi Bear" (this is the first task).

Complete Daily Activities

• These can be simple interactions with the platform.
• Earn Shards, which are essential for progress.

Social Media Tab:

• Complete all tasks on Galaxy once, then return and claim them.
• Tasks related to Discord roles can only be claimed after you’ve earned those roles.

Also:

• Click on the Mouse "Jerboa" and complete the first task.
• This will place you in the queue to unlock access to the rest of the map.

4️⃣ SendingSAH(TestTokens)

To complete another task,you need to send a small amount of SAH (TestTokens) to any address.

What to do:

• Send a small amount of $SAH (e.g., 0.01–0.05) to any address.
• You can send it to your own address or other participants’ addresses. The photos show how to create a second wallet and send $SAH to yourself.
• I use RabbyWallet because it’s super convenient. You can use any other wallet, even if it’s not as user-friendly.

Steps:

1. First, add a new address to your wallet.

After adding the address, return to your wallet and select the new address.

Now, select the Sahara network.

Copy the wallet address where you will send the test SAHARA tokens.

Final Step:

Go to your main wallet where your SAHARA tokens are stored.

• Send the test tokens to the copied address.
• The task is complete—congratulations!
• Don’t forget to complete and claim tasks every day.

5️⃣ Completing Tasks on Galxe

Galxe is a platform for on-chain quests and is also part of the campaign. According to the team, it’s not necessary to claim points on Galxe—just make sure to claim them in Sahara Legend.

What to do:

1. Go to Galxe and connect the wallet you’re using for the Sahara AI Testnet.
2. If it’s your first time using Galxe, you’ll need to complete the onboarding process.
• Make sure to verify your email—you’ll receive a confirmation code there.
3. Connect all your accounts to the platform: Twitter, Discord, Telegram.

After completing the onboarding process, start actively completing tasks. You can access them from the Sahara Legends map or by following the links provided.

Stay consistent and keep progressing! 🚀

To claim points after completing tasks, you’ll need to pay gas fees (transaction costs). For this, you’ll need Gravity tokens.

6️⃣ Topping Up Your Galxe Balance for Fees: How to Get Gravity

It’s simple. Follow these steps:

• Go to https://www.gas.zip/.
• Connect the wallet you used for Galxy and SaharaLegends.

1. In the search bar, look for Gravity and check the box.
2. Select the network from which you’ll purchase Gravity (or the one where you have more funds).
3. Choose the amount of money to send. I sent $1.
4. Click Send. Return to Galxe and claim your points.

You can also purchase SAH tokens here if the faucet is down—look for them on Testnets.exe

7️⃣ Claim Shards After Completing Tasks

After earning Shards on Galxe, you need to claim them so they are credited to your account. To clarify, Galxe is synced with the tasks—complete them there, then return to the map and claim them here as well.

What to do:

• After completing all daily tasks, click "Claim Shards".

• Shards accumulate in your profile.

The campaign consists of 5 deserts.
In each desert, you need to complete tasks and farm Shards.
For completing each desert, you receive an NFT.

Join the Discord server. There's very little space here, so you'll need to put in some effort. Periodic cleanups are conducted, and once another bot gets banned, you'll be able to enter. The gates to the SAHARA AI Discord will look something like this.

For your safety, disable the ability for others to send you direct messages and click the "Continue" button.

Read the rules and then click the "Continue" button. Complete the captcha. Congratulations, you are verified. New channels have now opened up for you, and we’ll start navigating through them.

The first thing we need to do to pick up the quest in Sahara Legend is to go to the "role-picker" channel. Claim the Legend role. Congratulations, you are now a Legend.

Now our goal is to be active and show engagement. The more lively you appear, the faster other channels with earning opportunities will be unlocked for you. Here's how:

Engage with other members in the general chat. Avoid spamming, ask interesting questions, and provide correct answers to others' questions. There are 3 great opportunities to earn the General Member role.
