Precautions should be taken during Pranayama practice

Precautions for Pranayama

  • Pranayama should always be done in clean and calm environment
  • You should Practice pranayama empty stomach.
  • If you are suffering with any chronic disease then you should consult your doctor and any good yoga teacher.
  • Pregnant woman or Woman during their period should not practice pranayama
  • Your body shouldn't touch floor or wall while practicing pranayama otherwise all energy will move towards Earth.
  • You should not eat anything after 30 to 45 minutes of Practice
  • You should not take your bath immediately after pranayama
  • Children younger than 12 years should not practice pranayama
  • You should keep your body straight while practicing Pranayama
  • If recently you have passed through an operation then you should not do pranayama.

So, these are some precautions that you should take during pranayama practice.
