Slippage

Slippage is the difference between the expected price of a token at the time of order creation and the actual price at which it is bought or sold. It occurs due to high volatility and low liquidity in the market.

Examples of slippage usage:

- Trading low-market-cap coins (Shitcoins)

Shitcoins often have low liquidity and high volatility, meaning their price can change within seconds.

Example:
You want to buy a shitcoin at $0.001, but due to rapid price growth and a high number of orders, the price at execution rises to $0.0015. You set slippage to 5-10% to ensure the trade goes through successfully.

Recommendation: Use 5-15% slippage, as these tokens are often traded with hype, and transactions may fail if slippage is too low.

- Medium-term trading

For tokens with higher market capitalization and stable liquidity, slippage is usually minimal.

Example:
You buy a token priced at $2.50 and set slippage at 1%. Due to stable liquidity, your trade executes almost exactly at the expected price.

Recommendation: Set slippage between 1-3% to minimize losses.

Gas Fees

Gas is the fee for executing transactions on the blockchain, measured in gwei (for Ethereum) or similar units in other networks. The fee amount depends on transaction complexity, network congestion, and how much you're willing to pay for priority processing.

Examples of gas fee usage:

- Trading low-liquidity tokens (Shitcoins)

For low-liquidity tokens, transaction speed is critical.

Example:
You are buying a shitcoin during its launch (hype period) when the network is congested. You set a high gas level (High-Instant) to ensure your transaction is processed faster than others.

- Medium-term trading

For trades involving stable tokens with less hype.

Example:
You are trading on Uniswap, where the network is not overloaded. You set medium-high gas fees to minimize costs.

- Long-term trading

For major tokens, where transaction speed is not critical.

Example:
You are transferring tokens to a wallet for storage. You set a low gas level (Low) since a slight delay does not affect the outcome.

This section helps you optimize your trading experience by configuring slippage and gas fees according to your needs! 🚀
