Keto Shrimp with Tuscan Oil

Combined with Tuscan oil, any dish is transformed, especially shrimp. The sauce they are served with is so good that you will want to eat the shrimp straight from the pan, and we won't blame you for that. And our keto shrimp recipe will be one of your favorites.

Ingredients for 4 servings

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
450 g shrimp, peeled and peeled
salt
freshly ground black pepper
3 tablespoons butter
3 cloves of minced garlic
1.5 cups cherry tomatoes, cut in half
3 cups spinach
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped basil
lemon wedges (optional for serving)

Steps.

1. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper. The oil should be hot, but not smoke. Place the shrimp in a skillet and fry for 2 minutes, until the underside of the shrimp is golden brown. Then turn them over and fry on the other side. Place the cooked shrimp on a plate.
2. Reduce heat to medium heat and add butter to skillet. When it melts, add the garlic to the pan, simmer for about 1 minute, until it smells. Add cherry tomatoes to the pan, salt and pepper everything. Cook the tomatoes until they burst. Add spinach and simmer until tender.
3.Add the cream, parmesan and basil to the skillet and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer the sauce for about 3 minutes, until it starts to decrease in quantity.
4.Put the shrimp in the sauce pan and stir well. Cook the dish until the shrimp is warm. Garnish with basil and lemon before serving.
