Q: What are Collectible Numbers?

Collectible Numbers are the first limited edition NFT collection of phone numbers released by the Telegram team that has its own utility. In addition to having a beautiful colour design and beautiful numbers (especially in the case of Rare and VIP numbers), they have the main useful function: the ability to register an account in Telegram or to change the number on the already existing account.

Collectible Numbers are needed to create a new account or to change the number on an existing account.

Q: What advantages do Collectible Numbers have over SIM cards?

Firstly, you receive a Telegram authorisation code on the Fragment platform, bypassing the cellular network. Accordingly, a text message containing the authorisation code cannot be intercepted by attackers over the cellular network. Blockchain is much more secure in this case.

Secondly, SIM cards can be reissued by the perpetrators with prior collusion. And you can lose not only the number but all accounts that are tied to it! Collectible Numbers are NFTs, they cannot be reissued. The owner of the NFT is the owner of the "Swiss Safe". The seed phrase from your wallet is the key to your "Swiss Lock".

Thirdly, in the privacy settings, you can make this number visible to everyone. This is very useful for channel owners, moderators and advertisers. Often scammers pretend to be other people by copying the name and username (changing 1-2 characters) of the former. Also, they can mimic the owner's number, finding a similar one. For example, +44 20 7559 6412 is similar to +45 20 7559 6412. The +888 numbers are almost impossible to spoof because there are no similar mobile operators in the world! Attackers will not be able to fake your account, which shows the unique Collectible Number.

Fourthly, in many countries, you have to provide an ID to buy a SIM card, in the case of Collectible Numbers, you don't have to do that.

Q: What accounts for the scarcity of these numbers?

Firstly, by their limited quantity (136,566).

Secondly, the number of Telegram users is already more than 1 billion, i.e. one number for more than 7,322 people.

Thirdly, every month the number of owners of just 1 number grows by an average of 371 people. They buy numbers primarily for personal use, not for sale or auction. This means that 371 numbers are withdrawn from the market per month, which increases the rarity even more!

Fourthly, as of April 2026, there were 48,023 total number holders (35,16% of unique owners) and more than 94,845 accounts registered with Collectible Numbers. This suggests that some people buy multiple numbers for family, friends or business use. But the main difference is made by the rental services. The numbers for which accounts are registered are taken out of the market, aren't being traded, thus increasing their scarcity.

Fifthly, over time, people may lose access to their wallets, forget a seed phrase, or simply leave the world. The numbers of such owners also leave the market, increasing the scarcity.

Q: Can I now create my own number with date of birth, beautiful combinations, etc.?

No, it is not possible. Since the issuance of new numbers has been discontinued in December 2022, you can only buy a number on the secondary market from people who already own numbers.

Q: Why should I rent a number from you when I can buy it myself?

As of April 2026, the price for one number is 1,939 TON or $2,550. For some, renting is an opportunity to test these numbers in working before buying. For some, there is not enough money to buy a new number. Therefore, annual rent ($659) will be more than three times cheaper than buying a number. For some, it is more profitable to rent a number for a year and then change to some other than buying numbers at full price. Some people don't trust any marketplace other than Fragment and don't want to go through KYC to buy there, so renting might be another option for them.

Q: How does the rental process work? Will you transfer your NFT to me?

We provide you with an OTP code to create an account or change the number on an existing account from Fragment.com after payment. NFT remains on our wallet. You can see the entire sequence of actions for renting here.

Q: Where can I check your numbers available and renting prices?

You can check it out here. All prices are in USD and will be converted into the currency you choose to pay at the exchange rate at the time of the deal (e.g., TON, BTC).

Q: Why can I rent from others for $45-60, but you're still charging $70? It's time to lower your prices.

First, we're not succumbing to the market's mass insanity and have no plans to dump prices. Second, the Floor Price for numbers hasn't changed since June 2025, when we raised them to $70 per month. Third, we've been in this market for over 2.5 years. Kate Smith is a reputable brand with an established customer base; we live up to this brand's high standards, and new channels are naturally forced to lower prices to attract customers.

Q: Which way can I pay?

You can pay with USDT (TRC-20, TON, ERC-20, BRC-20), TON, and Bitcoin. You can make the transfer through @okpay, @fllqb, @xrocket, or @cryptobot. You can also pay with any cryptocurrency at the exchange rate at the time of the deal. Everything is decided individually with the client.

Q: How many verification codes per month can I receive?

You are entitled to 1 complimentary code request monthly. Subsequent code requests will incur a fee of $5 each.

Q: Is it possible to change the number during rental or cancel a rental and get my funds back?

Unfortunately, that's not possible if it is voluntary except in force majeure situations (like selling a rented number or mistakenly canceling a rental prematurely on our part). Take a responsible approach to renting.

Q: What if fraudsters have used this number before me? What risks could this pose to my future account on this number?

Firstly, we will try to provide you with a number that has NEVER been used to create a Telegram account. This market is relatively new and we still have plenty of numbers that have not been used before.

Secondly, the number is a method for authorisation in Telegram, it is not tied to your username or account ID in any way. At any time you can delete your account and link a new account to this number after waiting for some time (usually 24 hours). If you break the Telegram rules, the ban is given by ID, not by number.

Thirdly, any user acknowledges understanding of the Terms of Use before renting a number and agrees to abide by them. If these rules are violated, we initiate a Telegram account reset.

Fourthly, we value our reputation and hope for mutual respect! We ourselves would not like to delete an account that violates our rules, especially if this account is used for a long time, and has a lot of valuable information, contacts, channels, etc.

Q: If I log into my account using your code from Fragment, you can read all my messages and view all my channels/chats. How can I avoid this?

Every time you receive a code from Fragment and create an account / change the number on your old one, you SHOULD enable Two Step Verification and set Recovery Email, and make sure your session is the ONLY one. In this case, you can be sure your account is secured during the entire rental period.

Q: Will all my contacts, gifts and so on disappear from my account after I change my number to +888? Will I disappear from other people's contact lists?

No, all your contacts will be saved and you will still be in other people's contact lists. You will also have all your Telegram account settings, all channels and all chats saved.

Q: Will I be able to return to my old phone number after my rental ends?

Yes, you will be able to return in the same way you changed it, there are no restrictions.

Q: What happens if I don't renew my lease?

We'll give you three days' notice before your lease expires. You have three options: renew your lease, change the number on your account, or delete your account and release the number. If you fail to do one of these three, we'll be forced to delete your account.

Q: If I lose my phone with these numbers, who can I contact to regain access?

If you received the code from Fragment directly from us, please contact us again. We will send you a new authorization code. You will enter your Two Step Verification code and you will be able to log back into your account.

Q: Why should I rent a number from you when I can buy a SIM card in a store?

Everything has a price. A SIM card costs exactly what it should cost. In addition, SIM cards have the disadvantages described above. If you are reading this, you are among the lucky ones!

Q: I paid for the number, but when I try to change the number, I get this message: "For security reasons, you can't change phone number from a device that you've just connected. Please use an earlier connection or wait for a few hours". What should I do?

In order to protect users from account hijacking, this security mechanism is in place. You need to wait 24 hours on this device to be able to change the number. Or you can use a mobile device that already has a session with this account for more than 24 hours. Keep in mind that the waiting period is included in the rental period and the rental will not be extended by 1 day! Approach the rental wisely.

Q: I paid for the number, but when I try to change the number, I get this message: "Too many attempts. Please try again later". What should I do?

To reduce system abuse attempts, you can receive no more than 5 codes per number within 24 hours. You will need to wait 24 hours to be able to change your phone number to the one you rented. Keep in mind that the waiting period is included in the rental period and the rental will not be extended by 1 day! Approach the rental wisely.

Q: There's one hour left until the end of the day. Could you please start the rental period from today?

We use local time, which can differ significantly from yours, so the end date of the rental could be, for example, April 28th, even if it's already 02:00 on April 29th for you. Also, we reset accounts on unextended numbers when we show up for work, which could be 14:00 or even 22:00 your time. A bit later than the 02:00 you were so eager to prove, right?

Q: Today is January 31st. I'm renting for one month. Why is the end date February 28th? Could you extend it by three days?

You rented for one month. January 31st is the last day of January, and February 28th (or 29th) is the last day of February. Fair enough. But if you rent, say, April 30th for six months, you wouldn't say that May, July, and August have 31 days. Could you reduce the rental period by three days? Besides, on average, a month has 365 (366)/12 = 30.42 (30.5) days. So it makes sense to rent for a full year.

Q: I forgot my additional password. How can I access my account?

No way, we do not have access to customers' additional passwords. We can only help you delete your account to reset two-factor authentication. The reset process will take up to 7 days. Keep in mind that the waiting period is included in the rental period and the rental will not be extended by 7 days! Approach the rental wisely.

Q: I've already rented a number from you. How do I change the number from one account to another?

You need to either delete the old account or change the number to any other number on the old account. Then your leased number will become available for linking to your new account.

Q: I rented a number from you, but my profile shows that it was purchased for 9 TON ($18). Why is it so cheap? Am I paying many times more for the number than it is worth?

Telegram shows the cost of the number when the last purchase was made on Fragment.com. In the case of 9 TON ($18), the last purchase was most likely in December 2022. This number could have been sold many times since then on third-party marketplaces, but the price will still be indicated at the time of the last purchase on fragment.com.

Q: What is a spam block? You wouldn't rent me such a restricted number, would you?

Due to some Telegram policies on spam activity, we do get restricted numbers after some customers. Accounts created on such numbers cannot write first to people who have not added them to their contact book, cannot create public chats and write in public chats. Such numbers are marked as "Restricted" on fragment.com and other marketplaces and are traded significantly below the prices of "normal" numbers. Such numbers are removed from our rental offer, and attempts are made to unblock them and return them to normal. As we have already written above, we make every effort to meet the highest quality of service to our customers.

Q: I forgot to renew my rental and now I have received a notification that my account will be deleted in 7 days. Can I renew my rental?

Yes, you can. But the rental renewal will be counted from the end of the previous rental, not from the moment the payment is made (even if such payment is made 7 days after the end of the previous rental period).

Q: I recently rented a number from you, but today my account was suddenly frozen. Can you restore my account? Is it possible to replace the number?

Unfortunately, we are unable to restore a frozen account. Furthermore, after an account is frozen, the number remains unavailable for use for some time until the account is deleted. Therefore, we will not replace the number, as you are still effectively using our number. However, if the number becomes available before the end of this rental, we may add the remaining term to your new rental. Please adhere to the rules and approach the rental wisely.

Q: What if there's a new release of 9 TON numbers? Your service will go bankrupt.

The limited edition NFT collection is so-called because it's the only one and there is no analogue to it. The limited supply of this asset and the huge number of users allows the price to grow steadily as more and more people realize the benefits of Collectible Numbers. No new release (minting) to proceed in the future. The Fragment team receives a 5% royalty from each auction or sale of numbers, accordingly, the higher the price of numbers, the higher the profit for Fragment. For example, on 29 April 2026, there were sold about 25 numbers with an average price of 2,152.36 TON. So Fragment earned about 25*2,152.36*0.05=2,690.45 TON (or about $3,498) just for numbers' royalty that day! Pavel Durov and Nikolai Durov are also known as a decent and purposeful businessman and a talented developer and they realise that releasing a new collection will bring down the price of the numbers, their earnings, and their own reputation because many of their friends and acquaintances keep their money in Collectible Numbers. Most of the holders of the numbers (whales, sharks) are TON holders too. So they don't have an incentive to dump their numbers price!

Q: Is it possible to buy out rented numbers from you after my rental period expires?

Yes, it is possible. Each number mask has a different price and the final price is decided in private correspondence. You can buy out our numbers directly on Fragment with 5% royalty or use the /sell section in the @marketapp with only 1% fee.
