Toyota Hilux 2020: TSS equipped with Rogue variant

UMW Toyota Motor released Toyota Hilux 2020. This is the second update since it was first released in 2015. Toyota Hilux 2020 has five versions, namely Hilux 2.4 MT single-row cab, priced at RM 92,880 and Hilux 2.4G MT double-row cab, priced at RM 111,880.

Appearance update

The front has a more aggressive appearance. The smooth lines and barbecue grills have been replaced by a more aggressive appearance. On the headlamp, its features are more distinctive, with a unique touch inside and the words "Hilux". At the rear, new LED lights come in to maintain compatibility with the overall surface appearance.

In addition, Toyota Hilux 2020 is equipped with a new wheel design. The body color comes with 7 choices, among which the bronze mica metallic paint becomes the new color choice.

Internal update

The cabin parts are decorated with metal, and different seat materials are selected according to the variant. The 2.4E and G variants come with fabric seats, while the 2.4V and 2.8 Rogue variants come with leather seats.

The dashboard display is also updated with clearer readings and a multi-information screen display in the middle.

Performance update and fuel saving

The 2.4L engine was updated and the common rail pressure system was increased to 250 Mpa (increased from 225 MPa). This change will save fuel by 5%.

The engine maintenance interval is 10,000 km / 6 months (previously 5,000 km / 3 months). In addition, body seals and shock absorbers have also been improved to provide a more comfortable travel quality.

Hilux Rogue is powered by a 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine that produces 204 PS and 500 Nm of torque. This engine is the same as the previous Hilux Black Edition, it is a 2GD-FTV engine, but the turbocharged cooling system and fuel rail pressure have been improved.

At the same time, Hilux rogues are specially equipped with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) safety assistance system. The system includes adaptive cruise control (ACC), automatic emergency braking (AEB) and in-vehicle maintenance assist system through brake distribution (LKA).
