Proton launched an upgraded version of Exora at a lower price

The upgraded version of the Exora seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle launched in 2019 is cheaper than the price before the upgrade. Proton Chief Executive Li Chunrong said that the upgraded version of Exora will provide two grades of 1.6T Executive and 1.6T Premium, with prices starting at RM 59,800 and RM 66,800 (without insurance).

The smart infotainment system of the 2019 upgraded Exora is similar to the Proton X70, the new Persona in 2019 and the new Iriz in 2019.

The Premium 1.6T model of the upgraded Exora 2019 is equipped with a built-in chip (eSIM) to allow car owners to connect to the Internet. Through the 7-inch full-color touch screen in the car, car owners can enjoy music, navigation and weather forecasting functions. Android phone users can also use the mirror output function of the fluorescent screen.

Proton’s existing new car models are equipped with a standard intelligent infotainment system, as well as a voice recognition application with "Hi Proton" commands to activate the service system, allowing car owners to perform multiple operations via voice. This function ensures that car owners pay attention to road conditions at all times, and will not affect driving concentration in order to find driving directions or choose to play songs. This system will also receive regular over-the-air (OTA) updates to ensure that car owners get the latest applications.

Regarding the appearance changes of the upgraded Exora, he revealed that its exterior design has been slightly modified to make it fresher. The roof antenna has been replaced with a new shark fin antenna, and the black roof has added a sporty atmosphere to the new car.

New comfortable seats are used in the car, and the new car dashboard makes important resources clear at a glance. Coupled with a new frameless inverted rear mirror to provide a wider view. As a seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle, the main selling point of Proton 2019 Exora is naturally the super spacious space. After the price drop and the addition of new equipment, the 2019 Exora 1.6T Executive brings additional benefits worth RM4,233 compared to the old model, while the additional benefits of the 2019 Exora 1.6T Premium amount to RM5,652.
