Proton's market share in February hit a record high in 77 months

In February 2020, Proton's production and sales both exceeded 10,000, and sales increased by more than 80% year-on-year. The market share was 23.8%, the highest level since 2013, an increase of 10.3% year-on-year in February 2019.

In terms of specific models, the Proton Persona regained its leading position in the B-segment, with sales of 2,653 vehicles in February. The Proton X70 (Boyue) model sold 1973 in February, becoming the most popular SUV model in Malaysia for the second consecutive month. According to Proton's official statement, customers who ordered in advance have begun to receive 2020 Proton X70.
