About
Waifu2x ncnn is a free upscaling images app that no need an internet connection to be run, this app is using CPU or GPU to upscaling images.
Since this app is using your CPU or GPU to upscaling, your device will feels lag when the process is running. I suggest you to do not using your device for a while to avoid upscaling failure.
Settings
- Limit GPU performance: Limit tilesize to avoid laggy screen when GPU processing
- Keep screen on while processing: Device screen will keeps on until the process is done
- Pick image from gallery: will change the method of importing image (Default is using stock file manager)
- Save location: You need to set upscaled images save location before start
- Output Image format: Set format to what you preferred:
- Auto-save images: Save images as soon as it is done
- Keep original filename: Use original filename as output names
- Anonymous data collection: This app can collect your data to help the developer improving their app (You can disable if you don't want your data being collected)
- Crash data collection: This app will send a data if the app is crash to help developer to fix their app
Scaling
RealCUGAN can upscale from 2× to 16×, Remember more high of scaling will use more ram to run, recommended to use from 2× to 6×.
Pro will use more ram than Standard model, choose by your own choice and you can enable Use GPU to faster processing.
