ON THIS DAY

The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to improve the activities of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy” was adopted.

The document was developed in order to implement the National Program for Personnel Training, to improve the training of qualified personnel in the republic in the field of foreign economic relations, international relations and diplomacy.

🔰 According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to improve the activities of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy” starting from the 1998/99 academic year to the University of World Economy and Diplomacy:
- students are admitted in the manner prescribed for higher education institutions of the republic, according to the results of the ranking of test tests.

In addition, the enrollment plan in the areas of education is determined taking into account the real staffing requirements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and other ministries and departments, taking into account the conditions for the effective organization of the educational process at the University.

50 percent of the established general admission plan is allocated for admission on state grants, 50 percent for admission on a contract basis.

It was also established that it is forbidden to pay in the currency of other states on a contract basis.
