Advanced mathematics schools will be established in each district (city)

The Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to improve the quality of education and the development of scientific research in the field of mathematics” was adopted.

In accordance with the document, priority areas for improving the quality of education, the development of scientific research and the implementation of scientific developments in the field of mathematics have been identified.

One of the priority areas is the introduction of modern pedagogical technologies for the formation of initial mathematical representations in preschool children, the development in the regions of specialized schools with in-depth study of mathematics, as well as the creation of new schools.

According to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to improve the quality of education and the development of scientific research in the field of mathematics”, in each district (city) specialized schools with in-depth study of mathematics (advanced schools) will be gradually phased.

Classes with in-depth study of mathematics will be created in stages, based on the demand and abilities of students.

The selection of students in advanced schools will be carried out in the prescribed manner on a competitive basis.

Graduates of classes with in-depth study of mathematics are accepted for study in the areas of education with a mathematical bias of the corresponding institution according to the established target parameters.
