The American Bulldog has been almost extinct after the World War II but thanks to the efforts of John D.Johnson the breed has been saved and still flourishes today. The American Bulldog is a dog used for local pitbull puppies for sale protecting property and they are larger in size than their closest relative, the old english bulldog. This dog is separated in two types, named after the breeders that had the most influence in their development. They are the Johnson and Scott types or more commonly known as Classic, Standard and Bully, Performance type.
