Здание — штаб-квартира компании Vodafone, в Порту, расположено на одной из главных улиц Avenida da Boavista. Спроектирована архитектурным бюро Barbosa & Guimarães.
Архитектура, которая на мой взгляд, не характерна для улиц Порту. Слишком динамичная и массивная. Хотя это и было дной из задач для архитекторов, с которой они неплохо справились.

Однако то, в чем архитекторы и дизайнеры потерпели неудачу, — это вопрос дальнейшего обслуживания.

Здание простроено в 2008 году и на данный момент, компания Vodafone освобождает полщади, после конфликта с вдадельцем здания, фондом AF Portfólio Imobiliário. А конфликт базируется на проблеме с глобальным ремонтом фасада, который, вероятне всего будет стоить достаточно дорого, как раз из-за своей сложной формы.

Vodafone’s headquarters in Porto are located on one of the main streets, Avenida da Boavista. Designed by the architectural bureau Barbosa & Guimarães.

Architecture that, in my opinion, is not typical for the streets of Porto. Too dynamic, and massive. Although this was the bottom of the task for the architects, which they coped with.

But what the architects and designers could not cope with was the issue of further maintenance.

The building was built in 2008 and is currently being vacated by Vodafon after a conflict with the owner of the building, the AF Portfólio Imobiliário Foundation. And the conflict is based on the problem with the global repair of the facade, which will most likely cost quite a lot, precisely because of it’s difficult forms.

Улица идёт практически параллельно экватору, немного смещаясь на север. Поэтому вечером, здание выглядит очень интересно, в контровом свете.

The street goes almost parallel to equator, little bit move to the north. Therefore in the evening, building looks very interesting in contour lights

2. С этого ракурса здание выглядит достаточно «бочкообразным». / From this view building looks more "barrel-form".

3. Очень динамичный фасад. / Very dynamic facade.

4. Фирменные цвета компании Vodafone скоро исчёзнут с фасада. / Vodafone's corporate colors will soon disappear from the facade

5. Основная входная группа. / General entrance.

6. Много трещин. / Lots of cracks.

7. Преломления, отражения и очень сложные узлы, с точки зрения конструкции. / Refractions, reflections and very difficult knots from a construction point of view.

8. Рядом вполне типичное для Порту жилое здание. / Nearby is a residential building quite typical for Porto.

9. Окно на нулевом этаже. / Window on the ground floor.

Видно что фасад требует ремонта. Трещены достаточно серьёзные.

It is clear that the facade requires renovation. The cracks are quite serious.

10. Структура бетонного фасада, при шлифовке начинает давать очень красивые отражения. / The structure of the concrete facade, when polished, begins to give very beautiful reflections.

11. Въезд на паркинг/Parkinhg entrance.

Чертежи с Archdaily, там конечно всё выглядит более парадно. Также есть фото интерьеров, но на мой взгляд, они менее интересны чем внешний вид здания.

Drawings from Archdaily, сertainly everything looks more "ceremoniously" There are also photos of the interiors, but in my opinion, they are less interesting than the exterior views of the building.
