Anyone planning to visit India must take a trip to one of the most enchanting tourist circuits of the country - The Golden Triangle. The circuit consists of three remarkably popular destinations of India, Delhi, the nation's capital; Agra, home to the magnificent Taj Mahal; and Jaipur, the land of Rajputs. Since this well-travelled route forms a triangular shape when connected to the map of India, it is therefore named the Golden Triangle Tour. More often than not tourists kick start their journey from Delhi, flying down to Agra to behold the incredible sight of the famous Taj Mahal, which is then followed by a trip to the pink city Jaipur.
