Plus Messenger: Telegram accounts
Here are some info about Telegram accounts management in Plus Messenger.
Telegram accounts are not stored in Plus Messenger
First and most important: Telegram accounts are created, stored and deleted in Telegram servers. Not in Plus Messenger app, not on Plus servers (by the way there are no any Plus servers: Plus Messenger is just an app which works just on your device), but on Telegram servers. That's why questions like "Why is my account restricted?", "Why am I automatically logged out of my account?" and "Why is my account deleted?" do not relate to Plus Messenger: it is Telegram support who should be asked about accounts.
How to create account?
- You need just phone number to create Telegram account.
- You can create Telegram account just by filling your phone number.
No way to create account without phone number (e.g. by e-mail address). Telegram does not request users any data except phone number. That is why you should own SIM-card to prove you are the owner of account. If you do not own SIM-card then you do not own telegram account.
Of course you can not create two different telegram accounts with same phone number. If you could then your collocutor adds your phone number to his address book, sends a message and... where should it come?
But you can change phone number of existing telegram account: you need to own new SIM-card but do not need to own old one.
How to log into account?
You can log into 10 different accounts at the same time in stable version of Plus Messenger. Use an arrow on the top of app menu to log into new account:
You can turn on two step verification to protect your account from scammers access.
Accounts management
Open app menu and go to Settings to change your account data (e.g. name or username).
- You can turn on notifications from all accounts or just from active account: Settings / Notifications and Sounds / Show notifications for: All Accounts.
- You change accounts order: hold current account picture in app menu and drag it.
- You can not set different themes for different accounts.
How to log out?
Open Settings and tap on three dots button.
