Why was I late at my work?

The last few times I had done my job early and could go home freely. But all these times I left my work hour or even an hour and a half later than usual.

The cause of it was I began to do something so interesting I forget about time. Once I the whole day did almost nothing, although I had to cut a promo video for tv-show Supernatural. I several times tried to start working but couldn't. And when I decided to go home because I couldn't make something good and thought I could make this video the next week a thought suddenly flashed in my mind. I sat down at the edition workstation and started to assemble the video. I just wanted to check one thought, but it brought another one, then came one more thought and the more time passed the more thoughts come into my mind.

I had an idea I could finish my work after the weekend, but I remembered the proverb 'make hay while the sun shines' and continued to work.
